Terms of Service

By creating an account or using Shiken Lab (“the Service”) at shikenlab.com, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Shiken Lab is a JLPT (Japanese Language Proficiency Test) practice platform. It provides mock exams, practice questions, and study tools. It is an independent study aid and is not affiliated with the Japan Foundation or JEES, which administer the official JLPT.

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. By using the Service you confirm you meet this requirement. If you are under 18, you should have parental permission.

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at support@shikenlab.com if you suspect unauthorised access.

You may not create accounts using automated means, impersonate others, or create accounts for purposes other than using the Service as intended.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service or its infrastructure
• Scrape, crawl, or automatically extract content from the Service
• Upload malicious code or content intended to disrupt the Service
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users
• Circumvent any security or rate-limiting measures

All practice questions, explanations, and educational content on the Service are provided for personal, non-commercial study purposes only. You may not reproduce, redistribute, or sell any content from the Service without our prior written consent.

We aim to keep the Service available, but we make no guarantee of uptime or uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time without liability.

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that practice content is error-free, complete, or will guarantee success on the official JLPT exam.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Shiken Lab shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of — or inability to use — the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our discretion if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time from your account settings or by contacting us.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the revised version here with an updated “Last updated” date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes will be resolved in good faith. We do not operate in jurisdictions that prohibit the Service.
